Martinsville Community Day-May 10, 2008

It was Saturday, May 10, 2008. Over a dozen local organizations, and several children and parents gathered around the courthouse square in Martinsville, Indiana. Nearly $3,000 worth of gifts and prizes were donated to the event for the participants. All proceeds from the Martinsville Community Day went to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Morgan County. There were also 11 successful units of blood donated in the Indiana Blood Center’s Bloodmobile!

If you are a school aged person under the age of 18 years, a food vendor, performer, non-profit organization, or a local business and would like to participate, please contact us at morgancountycommunity@gmail.com. It is free for youth, food vendors, performers, and non-profits, and $25 for the for-profit organizations to take part. Volunteers and donations are needed to make these efforts a huge success! All profits will go to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Morgan County.
