Toy Drive

Dear Friends & Neighbors,
Believe it or not Christmas is quickly approaching once again. During the holiday season The Heartland Crossing Community Watch thinks of a way to contribute to those in need. This year a friend gave me a wonderful idea to have a toy drive for Riley Hospital for Children. We will be collecting toys for Riley starting now and ending the first week of December. There are so many children there, with cancer, heart and lung disease, and with things we have never even heard of. At anytime your child could be there. Many of the parents end up quitting their jobs so they can be at the hospital with their children, meanwhile, the bills are piling up higher and higher. So, I am asking you to find it in your heart to donate to these children that will be spending their Christmas in a hospital bed.
Here is a list gathered from Riley of the toys the children would like to have. I am also collecting monetary donations to put together bags of art supplies.
~Also for those who would like to volunteer time on their own~
